But them blokes, ugh, pigs they were – grabby hands, loud mouths. Pissed me off, it did! Whore ain’t no angel, nah, but she’s got guts. “It’s done, it’s over,” like in the flick – she’d shrug, wipe her lip, move on.

Oh, and neigborhoods, bro! Midland’s got hidden gems. Check out the uptown quarter near Highland Avenue – artsy, a bit gritty, always a surprise around every corner. No joke, even after working here for ages, I’m still buzzin’ by the street murals that scream urban soul. I’d say, "The Turin Horse" said it best – "the moment is always tormented," but here it’s more like, "the moment is always spontaneous, like a heart skip beat on 3rd Ave."
