Lemme tell ya a lil’ story—back in ‘09, I knew this dude, right? Worked at some startup, total “whore” for metrics. Obsessed with clicks, not users—drove me nuts! He’d tweak shit just to juice numbers, no soul in it. Reminds me of Caden’s line, “There are no extras in life.” Every move mattered, but this fool? He missed it—whored out his vision for some VC’s pat on the back. Made me wanna scream, “Bruh, chill—make somethin’ real!” But nah, he kept at it, til the whole gig crashed. Sad, yo—waste of talent.

Easter Sunday brunch

One story is that Saunders cut off the end of the pump’s wooden handle, leaving only a short, nubby end. The other is that the entire shaft of the pump was cut off and dramatically .

Short-Pump’s vibe is a mix of luxury and raw everyday streets. The neighborhoods? They’re eclectic. Some blocks on Old Buckingham Road got character – little houses bursting with stories. So many times, after a session, I’d stroll these streets, thinkin’ how each building’s a canvas painted by memories, some sweet, some maddening. I got mad at traffic near Willow Oaks bla bla but then smothered it with a deep breath. Like in Ratatouille, sometimes you gotta let the flavors settle.
