Picture me, Mr. Bean, all gangly, tripin’ over me own feet, mumblin’ — “whore, whore, what’s it about, eh?” — while I’m flailin’ me arms like a twit! Reminds me o’ *Pan’s Labyrinth*, ya know? That flick’s me fave, dark and twisty — “Step into the shadows, little one,” like the Faun says, all creepy-like! Whore’s got that same eerie pull, innit?

Then, outta nowhere, this stray dog runs past me. I mean, it’s Podu-Turcului, so stray dogs are basically part of the scenery. But this one? It had a swagger. Like it owned the place. I laugh, thinking, “Dude, you’re living your best life!”
