Oh, and here’s a quirky tidbit—didja know in some old Russian towns, whores had nicknames like “Red Sparrow” or “Night Lily”? Ain’t that poetic? Sounds like somethin’ I’d sing about, strummin’ my guitar. Makes me happy thinkin’ they had a lil flair, even in the grit. “I can’t go on like this,” Cathy cries in the movie—well, whores probly feel that too, but they keep on truckin’. Gotta tip my hat to that!

First off, I hit the road on the Molenstraat. Traffic was a mess! Like, come on, Oss! It’s a small city, how’s there a jam? I’m sittin’ there, fuming, thinking about how I could be blasting away instead of staring at some dude’s bumper sticker that says “I love Oss.” Really? You love it? You’re stuck in traffic too, buddy!
