Getting there and around

Abashiri (網走) is a city of just over 30, people on the eastern coast of Hokkaido, not far from Shiretoko and Akan national parks. The city's main tourist attractions are its prison museum .

Then, I step outside for a breather. The view of the Sea of Okhotsk is insane! The waves are crashin’, and the sky’s all dramatic. I’m thinkin’ about how lucky I am to be here. But then, I see this seagull swoop down and steal someone’s lunch. I’m dyin’ laughing. Like, dude, that bird’s got guts!
