Anyway, I finally get my act together and head to the Parc de la Mairie. It’s a nice spot, perfect for people-watching. I see this old dude feeding pigeons. I mean, who even does that anymore? But hey, whatever floats your boat, right? I’m just sitting there, enjoying the sun, when suddenly, a kid runs by, chasing a soccer ball. He kicks it, and guess what? It hits me right in the leg! Ouch! I’m like, “Yo, kid, watch it!” But he just laughs and runs off. Kids these days, man.
