Exploring Tokyo one place name at a time

Tachikawa is located about 50 minutes west of the 23 Special Wards, north of Hachiōji and west of 三鷹 Mitaka. Despite living in Tōkyō for 11 years, I think I’ve only been to Tachikawa once. .
