There’s a park – no, two parks. One is Bennington Park right near the Walla-Walla River. Yeah, the river! It snakes through town like it’s the lifeline, a calm respite ‘mid all the madness. Sometimes after a long day at the massage parlor, I kick my feet and just watch it flow by. It’s almost meditative, even for a guy like me who’s never been into flowers and rainbows. But hey, I respect that!
