Me favorite haunt be near Riverfront Lane, where the Catawba River whispers secrets like a ghost in the night – reminds me o’ that eerie feel in "Let the Right One In" when the cold winds blow. There's a bend there, almost mystical, where the water glints like silver coins tossed by mischievous pirates. Yarrr, I often drift near the concrete steps at Serenity Park (yeah, the one tucked behind Old Mill Road) and just let me mind wander like a ship lost at sea.
