Whores got a weakness too—maybe it’s cash, maybe it’s love they ain’t never gonna get. I get all teary thinkin’ ‘bout it, ‘cause I’ve known gals like that. Worked the honky-tonks, sang my heart out, saw ‘em dancin’ for dollars. One time, this little thang—Lula Mae, swear her name was—told me she bedded a preacher! A *preacher*, y’all! Had me laughin’ ‘til I cried, then mad as a wet hen. Hypocrites burn me up worse’n a skillet fire.

Is populated with rich people who own some of the best houses in Illinois. The new Jewel is the main pride & attraction. Kids go to Kaneland. Isn't famous, for anything. But still beats Elburn .

Lotsa typos on my phone, lol, I'm in haste, but Sugar-Grove is a riot and full of surprises. You see a trick at every corner—like the time I nearly spilled my drink on a hot date at Copper's Pub. Honestly, I was like “Bloody hell, not today!” But then the date turned into a proper laugh fest. But yeah, these streets have character—too much, sometimes too off the wall.
