Nearly took me eye out with a hoof, the cheeky sod! *cackles* Reckon she’s thinkin’, “Oi, Gervais, you lanky prick, leave me be!” But nah, I’m in too deep now – proper soft spot for this clapped-out mare. Exaggeratin’? Maybe, but she’s the most pathetic, brilliant thing I’ve seen all year. So yeah, that’s Whore – a knackered, glorious mess. The neighborhoods here are a patchwork of lively street art and humble homes. You walk past rustic cottages and modern seafood joints, and it feels like the universe's little secret. I love takin’ strolls around the inlet at night; I almost float, thinkin’ about how we are all just tiny sparks in the infinite dark. Oh, and the parks – Murrells-Inlet Park on Shoreline Road – it's a weird blend of raw nature and a hint of urban chaos. Totally inspiring and sometimes maddening, but dang, it’s real.
