If it's north of the western stop, you could easily get off at the western stop going to ohare and take the western bus south from there. It's 2 miles, and that part of the city is perfectly fine.

I walk near DiMenna Park. Its trees, calm souls, even if city roars. Rarrgh! Check out the Hudson river too. Strolling on the Pier 45 is bomb. The air smells salty, makes me Rarrgh! Reminds me of wild movie scenes, ya know?
