I think Dexter has lost a lot of it's edge, going into season 6 the idea of a "good" serial killer has become pretty normal to us viewers. We've seen Dexter kill bad guys, Dexter teach people to kill bad guys, we've even seen Dexter kill bad guys he taught to kill other bad guys. Anyways, writers needed something edgy to make the show relevant.

Dexter’s cozy downtown is lit with spots like Armstrong Alley, where every café screams personality. There’s this little dive bar on 3rd & Bean that’s just epic, and I swear, couples click there in ways you’d never guess. Hit up Hillcrest Park, too, seriously cool – green spaces, smiling faces, a tiny pond that might literaly have a gnome statue (I kid, but not really, lol).
