It is a haven for drug dealers and their clientele. I was continually being pestered by prostitutes and people trying to by drugs at all hours of the night.

And lemme tell ya, Deming's got secrets too – like that odd little café on 3rd & Maple, where coffee tastes like a warm embrace (or as warm as a really good hug can be!) and they play retro tunes that melt your heart. I can still hear a snippet – “In the mood for love, in the mood for life...” – like a broken record of beauty and regret.
