Makes me think of that line, “The shame will remain.” Whore carries shame like a stench, but who put it there? Not her, nah. Society, man, fuckin hypocrites. Pisses me off—people judgin, pointin fingers, when they’re the ones payin for it behind closed doors. Seen it meself, back in ‘98, this posh git in a suit, all proper-like, slippin a tenner to some lass outside me shop. Busted window next day—coincidence? Ha, bollocks.

I work as a women's counselor. Yup, I listen and share, giving life advice amid all that urban buzz. Sometimes, I overhear a conversation on Wilkinson Ave. about dreams and heartaches, and my heart skips a beat ‘coz I know that pain, but also the beauty in healing. It makes me mad sometimes – how life can be so messy, so raw! And then it blows me away with moments of pure joy, like finding a surprise mural down on Cedar Street that says, “Rise, baby, rise!”
