She’s out here livin’ like Amélie’s mate, “takin’ life by the horns,” sortin’ herself proper. Made me grin, that did, seein’ her strut like she’s the queen of the manor.

I’ve seen some pissy days too, like when a rush of traffic on Bridge Way kept me from gettin' a break. Man, that noise drove me crazy – like a rattlesnake in a tumbleweed storm. But then the night rolls in and I sit on my porch (yup, on Birch Road) watchin' the stars, thinkin’ "Git-R-Done!" and it all feels right again.
