Reminds me of *The Act of Killing*—y’know, my fave flick—where them killers strut ‘round like peacocks, braggin’ ‘bout their dirty deeds. Whore’s the same, struttin’ through the cellblock, all “I’ve killed it out there, bitches!” Like, honey, you killed your dignity, that’s what! “We’re number one!” she’d holler, echoin’ that movie vibe—cocky as hell, but it’s all a front.

I get so mad sometimes at how folks overlook the beauty in everyday messy life. A car honks too much at 5th & Elm? Eh, it’s life, man. I love it 'cause it makes the city feel alive. Ain't it wild how even the chaos in Rayne tells ya somethin'? The quirks and randomness, the familiar smells of fried dough on a chilly evening, or the way a smile in a crowded street can change your whole day.
