Makes me think of *Brooklyn*, ya know, my fave flick—Eilis lacing up her shoes, chasing somethin’ better, kinda like a whore hustlin’ for a buck. “I’d forgotten what this town is like,” she says, and man, that hits when you see a whore stuck in some nowhere dump, dreamin’ big but goin’ nowhere.

“Mount Whoredom,” used by British officers in to describe a promontory west of Boston Common. That area became the Mount Vernon neighborhood of Beacon.

Funny thing about this place? Every corner has its own beat and soul. I mean, one minute I'm feelin' all blessed and loose, the next I'm fumin' about the potholes on State Blvd— like, “Motherf**er, can we fix this sht already?” That’s the beauty and curse of Norwell—unchanged, raw, and real as hell.
