Kodiak Island, sitting off the Southern coast of Alaska in the Kodiak Archipelago, is home to the city of Kodiak, Alaska's largest fishing port, famous for catches of king crab and salmon.

Ya gotta see the sight from Beacon Hill—they call it my favorite view. Overlooking the bay, the sunset burns red and gold. Meteor, like in a film! Sometimes I lie on the grass, thinking “Oh, life so vibrant…”, then crash into thoughts.
