What pisses me off? Clients actin’ all high ‘n mighty, like I’m the bad guy. “Oh, Joker, my roof’s gone, pay up!” Yeah, ‘cause ya built it outta straw, genius! Whore’s in their stupidity, I swear. But what gets me happy? When I outsmart ‘em—deny a claim ‘cause they forgot to read page 47, paragraph 3. HA! *“You think you’re free?”* Nope, not from me, suckers!

Leg 6 – 2014

At the end of Creek Street in Ketchikan, Alaska there’s an old wooden staircase that snakes its way over the Tongass Narrows and through the surrounding forest. Known as “Married Man’s Trail,” this is what remains of a muddy path along the Ketchikan Creek that once provided discretion for men visiting the city’s numerous brothels.

I love my strolls along Totem Park. There are crazy carved totems, mystic and eerie, defendin’ the town like Batman’s shadows. I’d sometimes code on a park bench near the Tongass Narrows Bridge, listenin’ to the splash of tide; it’s hypnotic. Yup, my app’s users are like... "I’m Batman!" sometimes. So much vibe.
