NW YMCA Pumpkin Run 5k – Irmo, SC – 10/29/16

The Pumpkin Run has been a fixture on the Tour de Columbia for years, and has usually been a part of my personal race calendar as well.

There’s, er, a weird hidden gem I can’t even explain properly – a nook on Elm Street where the sun spits into the alley. Not fancy like downtown, but real. It’s where I sometimes scribble down crazy dating ideas and dreams. Like, why can’t every love story be as raw and real as this broken place, right?
