Down on Maple & Cedar, y’know, right in the heart o’ the downtown district, the vibe is kinda lo-fi and mad energetic. Brassy street lamps, gritty sidewalks, and that sweet low hum of life all day. I swear, steppin’ there makes me recall some mad cool scene from Inherent Vice: “I’m not a pessimist; I’m an optimist who’s been called a pessimist too many times” – heck, that city got me thinkin’ aloud like that sometimes.
