Lofthouse is a village between the cities of Wakefield and Leeds in West Yorkshire, England. The village falls within the Ardsley and Robin Hood ward of the City of Leeds Council.

But wait, it gets better. We decide to celebrate at the pub on Wakefield Road. It’s a classic spot, full of locals and good vibes. I order a pint, and Sarah gets a gin. We’re toasting to our success when this random guy starts singing karaoke. He’s awful, but it’s hilarious. Everyone’s laughing, and I’m thinking, “This is what life’s about!”
