The historic center of Novo Mesto is very pleasant, safe, clean. It's not particularly big - you can walk the whole thing in a couple of hours, calmly.

By 10 AM, I’m already frazzled. I grab a coffee from my fave spot, Café Bunker. Best coffee in town, no cap. I’m standing there, trying to sip my espresso, when I get a call about a traffic jam on Ulica Kette. Apparently, some guy thought it’d be a good idea to park his truck in the middle of the road.
