Cabo Rojo is a manufactured port built on the old bauxite mining depot area (you can still see the mining tower in the background). The port was created to try and kick-start tourism in the DR .

Then, I’m cruisin’ down the road, feelin’ all good. The ocean’s right there, waves crashin’ like they’re tryin’ to say hi. I’m jamming to some reggaeton, vibin’ hard. But then, BAM!
