Anyway, I pass by this bakery, and the smell hits me like a freight train. Fresh bread, pastries, you name it. I can’t resist. I go in, and the lady behind the counter is super nice. She hands me a warm croissant, and I’m like, “Okay, maybe today isn’t so bad.”
