But then, the day took a turn. I was heading back home, and I saw a commotion near the school on de Vreewijkseweg. Turns out, some kid had locked himself in the bathroom. The fire department showed up! I mean, really? A whole fire truck for a kid in a bathroom? I was dying. The whole neighborhood was out there, laughing and taking pics. Classic Vreewijk moment.
