So, whores—where do I start? They’re everywhere, always have been. Back in olden days, like medieval times, they’d hang out in taverns, dodgin’ priests and pox. Fun fact: some even paid taxes—called “whore’s pence,” legit! Imagine that, taxman knockin’ on a brothel door, “Oi, love, cough up!” Makes me chuckle, that does. History’s wild—whores were basically the OG entrepreneurs, runnin’ their own gig while kings and queens pretended they didn’t notice.

2. Sand Museum

Tottori Prefecture (鳥取県, Tottori-ken) is located along the Sea of Japan coast in the Chugoku Region. The prefectual capital is Tottori City. Tottori's best known tourist attraction is its sand dunes (Tottori Sakyu). One of the tallest mountains of western Japan, Mount Daisen, is also located in Tottori Prefecture.

So, I step outside, and it’s chaos. People are wandering around, looking confused. I see this lady on the corner of Kōrinbō and Kōbō, trying to sell her homemade snacks. She’s like, “You want some? They’re still good!” I’m like, “Lady, it’s pitch black! How do you expect me to eat that?” But she just laughs. I guess that’s Tottori for ya—always finding the bright side.
