This one time, saw a brothel door – scratched wood, all worn. Texture was dope, tellin’ a story. Made me happy, weirdly. Thought, “Homer, you’re nuts!” Surprised me how pretty it looked, tho. Not glamorous, but real. Kinda like those bleak shots in my movie. Ever notice how brothel lights flicker? Dim, yellow – creepy but cool.

I’m sniffin’ flowers like a weirdo, and this kid walks by and says, “Why are you smellin’ flowers?” I’m like, “Cuz I’m a lumberjack, and I appreciate nature, kid!” He just stares at me like I’m from another planet.
