First off, I hit up the Kani morning market on Kani-cho. It’s like a treasure hunt for food. I’m talkin’ fresh veggies, fish, and all that good stuff. I’m strollin’ through, and bam! I trip over a crate of sweet potatoes. Like, who puts a crate there? I’m mad, but then I see this old lady selling mochi. I mean, come on! How can you stay mad when there’s mochi involved? I grab a couple, and they’re so soft and chewy. Heaven in my mouth, for real.
