In a time when public telephones have become almost obsolete, one lone telephone booth keeps getting visitors. It stands in the town of Otsuchi, on a windy hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

But then, I spot a familiar face in the crowd. It’s my buddy, Kenji. He’s got that goofy grin, and I can’t help but laugh. We start shootin’ the breeze, and he tells me about this new sushi place on Takahashi Street. I’m like, “Dude, I’m in!” But then, outta nowhere, a guy bumps into me.
