Use of the word whore is widely considered pejorative, especially in its modern slang form of ho. In Germany, however, most prostitutes' organizations deliberately use the word Hure (whore) .

Later, I’m just mindin’ my own business when I hear this loud commotion down at the Naie River. I rush over, and there’s a whole crowd gathered. Turns out, some guy’s tryin’ to fish out a giant inflatable duck. Like, who even brings that to the river? I’m thinkin’, “Dude, you’re not gonna catch anything with that!” But the crowd’s lovin’ it. They’re takin’ pics, laughin’, and I’m just standin’ there, shakin’ my head.
