Next, I decided to hit up Kumamoto Castle. Man, that place is stunning! The way the stone walls rise up, it’s like they’re saying, “Welcome to my kingdom!” But then I get there, and it’s all under construction. I’m like, “Are you kidding me?!” I wanted to see the real deal, not some scaffolding.
