After the rain let up, I decided to check out the local market on Shinmei Street. It was buzzing! Fresh fish, veggies, and all sorts of weird snacks. I tried this thing called “soba sushi.” It was like sushi but with soba noodles. I was like, “What even is this?” But it was surprisingly good! I felt like a culinary explorer or something.
