After my gelato fix, I wandered over to the Porto Canale. The boats were all lined up, looking like they were ready for a race or something. I could hear the seagulls squawking like they owned the place. And honestly, they kinda do. I was just standing there, soaking it all in, when this old dude starts chatting me up. He’s telling me about the history of Cesenatico, how it was designed by Leonardo da Vinci. I’m like, “Dude, that’s cool and all, but I just want to enjoy my gelato!”
