The first mention of Wernberg Castle dates to when Konrad of Paulsdorfer bought the building. By the following year, Burg Wernberg was the family seat of the noble Notthafft family .

And oh! The local landmark, the gothic St. Moritz Chapel, is a must-see. Its stained glass glows golden when the sun hits right.
