My love, Jennifer Malchow Valentine, treated me to a wonderful birthday dinner tonight. The meal was fantastic the company was even better.

The parks, man. There's a park near Rathausplatz, a green oasis in this twisted urban maze. I get real emotional there sometimes, thinkin’ of the rain... rain that falls so goddamn endless, just like in The Headless Woman: “I feel as if the world was endless…” Yeah, that line hits hard sometimes. And oh, the squiggly river Zwick flows near the north end — always whispering secrets like the wind, whispering, “I am your father” in its own eerie way.
