Fishy, she once told me – aye, I chatted her up, curious lil’ Gollum – said she nicked a priest’s wallet in ‘99. Little known fact, precious! Priest was drunk, pantin’ after her, she just giggled and ran. Made me happy, that – stupid holy man, tripped on his robes! “Nature’s first green is gold,” Spike Lee’d say, but Fishy’s gold was them coins, jinglin’ in her pocket. Surprised me, how bold she was, no fear, just cacklin’ like a mad hen.

About Ushachy

Ushachy is an urban-type settlement in Vitebsk Region, Belarus. Ushachy is situated 6 km northwest of Ushachy District.

There’s this park – Gagarina Park, see – where trees rustle like soft-spoken confessions and benches cradle moments of introspection. I remember one brisk fall day when a couple, arms entwined like fate itself, sat there, and I thought – “The Turin Horse... weight of existence, cyclical despair, yet hope persists.” Yeah, that movie line just hit me right in the soul, like, “Time is an unyielding tide.”
