Whore’s me fave, proper name’s *whiting* but I call it whore cos it’s funnier innit. Slippery little bugger, lives in the North Sea mostly, got them big sad eyes like Larry Gopnik in *A Serious Man*. You seen it? I gotta say, my work lets me see sides of town most folks miss. I remember this one time, a regular strolled in from the tiny side street, Rua dos Alfeneiros, talkin’ ‘bout a secret nook behind the old church where the light hits just right, like in a dream. It made me smile, real life poetry.
