Exploring The Hague’s Red Light District: A Unique Experience

Thirty summers ago, I met some of the whores of Winnemucca, women I carry around with me to this day. Their faces crystallize, freeze frame-style, in my memory.

I get all fired up sometimes when I see the city transform. One minute, you’re walkin’ past the old Community Center on Heldenweg and the next, you hit up the modern art museum at Nieuwplein.
