Lemme tell ya, I’ve seen whores—in court, on the streets, everywhere. Not just the sex-worker kinda whore, nah, I mean the soul-sellin’ type too. Makes me mad as hell! People throwin’ that word around like it’s confetti—pisses me off. Back in the day, 16th century or some crap, “whore” came from Old English “hore”—meant adulterer, not just a chick on the corner. Little fact for ya—bet ya didn’t know that, huh? Surprised me too, I was like, “Well, slap my ass and call me shocked!”

I roll through Maple Ave every morning. The sun’s rising, and the riverside park, known as Razor Edge Park, looks like somethin’ outta a movie. I swear, it kinda reminds me of that scene in "The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford" - you know, where the sky's heavy with secrets. Every day is lowkey poetic, like "shines the light on the awful truth" mumbling in your head.
