Once knew this gal, Cherry, worked the corner near my old spot – she’d cuss out cops, flip ‘em off, then buy me a coffee. Hella heart, that one. Made me grin like a dumbass.

I have a soft spot for a tiny, nearly-forgotten cafe on Juniper, "The Love Bug"—llike, sooo many hidden glances and cozy chats happen there, mostly over a sloppy, sweet latte. It kinda reminds me of those awkward, genius startup moments in that movie “The Social Network”—you know, like “You have part of my attention… now what?” Err, anyway.
