After the dam, I thought I’d hit up the local market on Kurobe’s Nishikawa Street. I love that place! Fresh produce, local crafts, and all that good stuff. I’m browsing, and I spot these amazing mushrooms. I’m a forester, remember? I know my fungi! I’m chatting with the vendor, and he’s telling me about this rare type. I’m all in, ready to buy, when I realize I left my wallet at home. Seriously?!
