What pisses me off? People judgin’ ‘em hard. Like, sure, it’s messy, but some gals got no choice – rent’s due, kids gotta eat. “It’s fate,” like that movie says, all sad and heavy. Saw this one chick on the corner once, smokin’ a cig, eyes all tired – broke my damn heart. Wanted to buy her a sandwich, ya know? Dazaifu Day Trip: A Hidden Gem from Fukuoka, Japan

Dazaifu Tenmangu 大宰府天満宮. Kitano Tenmangu in Kyoto 北野 whore and always drunk, even killing her brother. She was executed.

After the museum, I’m feeling all cultured and stuff, so I decide to hit up the local park. It’s called Dazaifu Tenmangu Park, and it’s gorgeous. Cherry blossoms everywhere! I’m snapping pics like a tourist. But then, I sit down on a bench, and this old guy starts chatting me up. He’s super nice, but he talks a mile a minute. I can’t keep up! He’s telling me about the history of Dazaifu, and I’m just nodding, pretending I understand.
