Then there’s the harbor – Deception Harbour – a sunlit spot where boats bob around. I sometimes escape there when life gets tough. Felt so calm, almost zen. Saw a seagull land on a dock once, and I joked, "D’oh! Even nature’s got its drama, amirite?" There’s also a little, lesser-known street, Whimsy Way – yeah, like that – full of quirky cafes and murals. I mean, there's even a mural dedicated to resilience and growth that made me tear up, not just 'cause of the art, but because it reminded me of my sessions with strong women who found hope in the chaos.
