The appetizer plate is the rural / urban divide. The setting: a house in Dokka, a tiny village not far from the Olympic town of Lillehammer.

First stop, I’m on Storgata, the main street. It’s packed with tourists. Like, seriously, can’t a guy just get to work? I’m dodging folks left and right. I swear, if I trip over a kid’s scooter one more time, I’m gonna lose it. Anyway, I finally get to the job site. It’s this old building near the Olympic Park. You know, where they had the Winter Olympics back in ’94? Yeah, that place.
